"Absolutely the worst insurance agent and company ever. Our problems started about 7 months ago, or whenever they got a new computer system. We noticed that our bills were being double billed, and when we approached the company about it, they claimed that we were always "one month behind". We did everything these past 7 months to make sure we stayed ahead of the game and the bill. Last week was our final straw. I went in and paid state farm almost $700 to apply towards our monthly bill and some towards next month. We were quoted a price of March's bill being $389.00 due before March 23. When I checked yesterday, the bill was back up to $511.06. EVEN after all the money we threw at them last week. I called and told them they needed to change rate to what they quoted us, and they refused. I called ALL STATE insurance, and they are giving us everything state farm did, but for $200 cheaper every month. If they can do it, why not state farm? My husband had been with this particular agent for over 20 years, and all of the sudden, when we started questioning the payments, he blew us off. 🤔 I believe state farm can do better than what they are doing, but we are no longer sticking around to find out. ALL STATE is where it is at!!! Make the switch, people!!! DO NOT believe Jason and state farm when they say you can't find anything cheaper, bc we sure did!!!!!!!! Only gave one star because I had to. UPDATE TO YOUR RESPONSE: Thank you for finally responding to us, I'm only sorry that a negative review is what finally got your attention to our account. If you reread your response, you will see that you contradicted yourself. First, you say that we were not told that all the money we spent was put towards the next month. But then at the end, you say the new billing system made you thought we were caught up. So clearly if you thought we were caught up,that's exactly what you told me in person. That vehicle we started back up was not behind, either. We paid it up to date and took it off because the brakes were not Working, so bc of your ridiculous rates, we decided to take it off until we got the brakes fixed. We asked you to try to give us better rates, but your company refused. This issue is NOT due to past due amounts, it is due to poorly trained individuals who know nothing about your new system, as you clearly stated. ALSO the young lady also did state that they had the same problem with a previous client, so we know this isn't just happening to us. Either way, we have found much cheaper insurance that you claim was not possible, nor did you take the time to ever talk to us. Thank you for your time."
"Thank you for your feedback. This is not the experience we want State Farm customers to have. Unfortunately, this was due to outstanding balances from being behind on payments. Of the almost $700 paid, none of that was applied to the next month, nor were you told it was. It was applied towards an outstanding balance and starting a new policy on a vehicle you let lapse from nonpayment. We explained several times how we have a new billing system and that when you make you're payment past your billing cycle, it skips a month and adds that month onto your next bill which is what kept happening. We also tried to reach out to explain our new billing system did not show us that you still had an outstanding balance when you came in to pay which is why we thought you were finally caught up. We are sorry it did not work out for you to stay with our company and hope you have better success with your new company."
